Roshan T. Melvani, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Roshan Melvani is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and California Qualified Medical Evaluator with fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction and shoulder and elbow surgery. He earned his medical degree through the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s combined BA/MD program and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, serving as chief resident during his final year. He subsequently completed fellowships at Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic and Florida Orthopaedic Institute.

Dr. Melvani is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, textbook chapters, and presentations covering joint reconstruction, shoulder and elbow conditions, orthopaedic biomechanics, and surgical techniques. His background also includes volunteer service and international medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Honduras. As a California Qualified Medical Evaluator, he provides medical-legal evaluations within the workers’ compensation system.
